Hello comrades

We have shipped the last game from our Partisan workshop. As by now… most of you received our game. The rest of you will receive it in days to come. I would like to thank you all for your patience. Only thing left is a comic strip Partisan - which will be sent to backers asap!
Currently I am editing pages accessible via QR codes - adding pictures and links to other pages with extra content. We have been contacted by a couple of museums saying that they would like to collaborate with us on this project. So.. extra pictures coming soon.
Our pages differ from language to language. Eric Gobetti, Italian historian, added links to our Italian partisan school to help deepen the knowledge for our Italian comrades. And pages translated to Croatian will have additional links to Antifašistički vijesnik.
Now, when the storm has passed I can tell you a bit more about our journey.

As you all know, 2021 was.. Well.. memorable to say at least.
There were a lot of challenges we all had to face. Our jobs, family relationships, friendships.. We were all put to a test and nobody was excluded from that story.

Since I foresaw that my main income will be affected hard, I decided to use this “opportunity” to present my game to the world. We have, by then, sold nearly 1000 copies of our first edition in Slovenia. So I rolled up my sleeves and started to learn everything about crowdfunding while improving original gameplay and developing new games (Medal chase).
I was lucky that at that moment I noticed that an acquaintance of mine is running Crowdfounding academy. The help we received there was more than we could hope for.
So we felt that we were prepared to step into the arena. After launching the campaign and successful crowdfunding on Kickstarter we thought that the world is in our hands. We felt proud that so many people backed us even though it was our first campaign and nobody knew us or our work.

We are really proud about our game. The box, figurines, dice.. It is all made with love and respect towards history and towards backers. The board game you hold in your hands is not an average board game. It gives and will continue to give more to an interested individual.

We had a misfortune or two during the process. The prices for materials used in our game went up 30-40% and this had a tremendous impact on our budget. Also the price of shipping has changed overnight, so.. After a long talk in our HQ (between me and my wife) we decided that we will invest additional funds into our project because we strongly believe that we have a great product in our hands. And we felt that this should not be a burden imposed on our comrades who supported us in this process.

As responsible commanders we took it on ourselves to cover what is missing so that you, our comrades can see that we do everything we can, to hold on to our word.

So far we have received a number of letters and pictures from you praising our game.

After a year in “ditches” your kind words feel like a medicine to our battle scarred souls.

We hope you will continue to enjoy the game. When you find the time, browse through our QR codes and read more. There are hidden gems in there, including a 60 minut movie based on a real event - breakout from a German prison, directed by: me, the author of this game. :) I also play a minor role of course. :D

But we do have a small request for you.
If you find our game playable or/and if you are satisfied with the quality of the product, please help us share the word about our game.
If you think there is a way to improve our product, please write to us. Help us be better at what we do. We are still in the process of learning. Your insights will be much appreciated.

We will continue to send updates about new museums and pictures that we will put on the page. 

We also plan to make a special offer to 5 of our Kickstarter backers. A first game you play can be lead by - me, if we can establish a video call. :)

We started to ship our games

You will love this update. Yesterday we sent out first boxes. 

We are focusing on our international backers first. During next week our slovene partisans will get their games. Backers with higher number of orders from Slovenia will be contacted personally - I would really like to meet you all! I hope you will have a minute or two. 

I promised a video, but it is hard to record myself during assambly of boxes. And to be quite honest I would really like to ship the games asap.

We are close to shiping the first games. During this week, the first games will be sent to our backers. There is a lot to put in the box. We will share the video of assembling the boxes in the next update. 

We didn't have time to record it as we were busy packing as many games as we could.

We passed the customs

Hi all!

We are happy to announce that our General HQ received the game from our Partisan printing company.

After single handedly unloading 3 tons of material… Well, with the help of my wife.. my sister… mother in law… and best friend of the truck and into our warehouse we are happy to say that we will start the shipping process as soon as my muscles start working again.
As I said to my mother in law: “I was not born to lift, I was born to think!” :)
Her reaction was priceless. :D 

Anyway, we need just a couple of days to go through the material and prepare it for shipping.

We still haven’t received the custom dice for Medal Chase from our allies in the US (and this is funny because it was the first bill that we paid - months ago) but we believe that they are doing their best in the current situation and that they will deliver on their word. I can not predict the date. But backers should know that we will start shipping the Medal chase game as soon as we receive the dice. It could happen in December or January.

And unfortunately we will have to re-do the comic strip. Author is not happy with the final product. But do not worry. Backers will receive the game now, and the comic strip Partisan will follow in January.
